A short ride through historical Skagway brings you to the Gold Rush Restaurant and Brewery located on the Skagway River, where our brew master greets you. He will then take you inside the brewing room where our brews are made and explain the process. Find out how our unique water source produces a high grade of both beer and root beer. You’ll see the actual tanks and equipment used in the process.  Once in the private tasting room, you will sample our micro-brews and root beer, or Alaskan wines from the Alaska Denali Winery in Anchorage.  "Gold Nugget" appetizers are also served.  Stroll the outdoor decks and enjoy views of the ships in port, Harding Glacier, the Skagway River, and surrounding mountains.



On this excursion you will: 



• Drive through town in the comfort of your motor coach listening to stories of Skagway: Gateway to the Klondike. 

• Go to the Gold Rush Brewery and be greeted by the brew master who will fascinate you by taking you step by step through the brewing process. 

• Move into the tasting room where you can try three locally made beers, wine from the Alaska Denali Winery, or our locally brewed root beer. 

• View our interactive displays, artifacts, and movies, or just enjoy the beautiful views on the Skagway River.
