KLONDIKE GOLD FIELDS TOURS
In 1999 The Klondike Gold Fields moved and restored a 1937 gold dredge from its working claim in the Klondike Gold Fields of the Yukon. The dredge is a 350 ton gold sifting machine brought back from the Klondike and reconstructed piece by piece on the shores of the Skagway River.
In addition to our dredge tours, you can enjoy a funny yet informative gold panning demonstration from one of our friendly characters. Guests are guaranteed a lucky strike while panning for gold in our covered pavilions and heated-water troughs. You can have your gold weighed and made into a keepsake.
Interested in mushing, the Alaskan state sport? Our guests can meet an Iditarod musher and his dogs. The presentation includes a demonstration run, a narrated film, and a close up look at all these athletes need to compete in this amazing sport. If you want to really feel the climate on the trail, step into our Forty-below chamber and learn about the effects of cold weather on both animals and their human friends.
Our brewery offers tours as well where you can see how we make our home-brewed beers and root beer. The brewery itself sits inside our famous Klondike Grill where you can round off your stay with some home-cooked, Alaskan inspired foods.

The entire Klondike Gold Fields facility is wheelchair accessible.
