As part of our commitment to the history and preservation of Southeast Alaska, we are proud to support the American Bald Eagle Foundation in Haines, Alaska. This educational foundation is dedicated to the protection and preservation of bald eagle habitats through sponsoring and facilitating educational and research activities. We have a display area about American Bald Eagles from the foundation and hope our visitors will help us contribute to their research and their center which also houses birds that have been injured and are unable to return to the wild.
